France-based Zlio has just raised $4 million in Series A funding from Mangrove Capital Partners, according to a recent press release. Mangrove represented the first institutional investment in Skype.
With an ambitious service offering "online shops for all," the company reports exponential growth in both France and the US. It currently attracts about 2.5 million unique visitors per month, and since its inception, 100,000 shops have been created.

Zlio also provides shopkeepers with the option of over 3 million products to help build their storefronts. The company expects to launch a UK variant in the near future.
