Y!'s First Order of Business: Nail Rivals

Just days after divorcing itself from ex-CEO Terry Semel, Yahoo acquired college sports site Rivals.com for an alleged $100 million pricetag.

Scout.com, Rivals' main competitor, was acquired by Fox in August '05 for about $60 million.

Rumors of a Yahoo/Rivals liaison were first sparked in April.
