Google is incorporating user-created YouTube reviews onto releated results pages in Google Product Search.
"Videos include reviews from sources like USA Today, Wired, and Digital Trends, and they appear above the 'Similar Items' section of the page," the company explained. One example of how reviews have been incorporated is in this search results page for the Nikon D90 camera.
Video creators that would like their videos considered for inclusion must add the "youtube" attribute to their data feed, including the YouTube video ID for each product with a related video review.
Video IDs are denoted by the "v=" in the YouTube URL of the video.
Rreviewers must also include UPC, ISBN, brand, and MPN information in the tag of the review.
