YouTube Contests Run on Dunkin'

Fueling America

Dunkin' Donuts has launched a YouTube contest, reports MediaPost.

The contest asks people to respond to the question "How do you keep America running?" People can submit response videos for review by a panel of judges. The best 50 will receive a year of free coffee.

The top 10 videos will also appear on DunkinDonuts.com and elsewhere.

The coffee and donuts chain launched the contest to harness the passion its customers exhibit. By tapping into YouTube, a spokesperson said, it hopes to share that passion with others.

Dunkin' Donuts will promote the contest with ad buys via Google, CNN's "Living" website and other highly visible websites. It is a supplementary component of Dunkin's long-running "America Runs on Dunkin'" campaign.
