Search engines are proving great at letting searchers figure out what product to buy, but sometimes it's harder to figure out just where to go and buy it. Even as Google and Overture introduce products that allow for localized business searching, the charms of yellow pages sites are becoming more obvious. Most advantageous for the traditional phone book company sites is the fact that they have feet on the streets, with sales forces interacting with local businesses and creating databases of information that search engines won't necessarily find laying around the net.
