Ad Age: Head of Yahoo's New Ad Agency Resigns
AdWeek: Managing Director Exits Yahoo! Incumbent
The brand new ad agency cobbled together by the giant WPP advertising agency holding group has lost its managing partner. The agency, Soho Square, will continue without its founder Elizabeth Talerman, who reportedly will be putting together - of all things - a new ad agency.
Unnamed sources at Yahoo reportedly voiced satisfaction with Soho Square's progress in putting together a proper team. Talerman will be replaced by former J. Walter Thompson executive Alda Abbracciamento. MarketingWonk extends best wishes to Talerman in her new venture along with the advice to use a different contract lawyer when setting up the management structure.
