Yahoo's official announcement yesterday, foretold last week, that it will let users search jobs from across the web is an attempt to differentiate itself from other search engines, writes DM News. Yahoo is extending the job-search function beyond the advertised jobs on its Yahoo HotJobs site and including those on the websites of employers, a move that will affect advertisers of jobs and related services. This is the first time one of the three leading job sites - HotJobs, Monster and CareerBuilder - will incorporate free listings.
