Yahoo Expects Search Revenue to Double By 2006

CNET: Yahoo Sees Sponsored Searches Doubling

In an address Wednesday at the Banc of America Securities Conference, Yahoo CFO Sue Decker said sponsored search revenues are expected to grow from $2 billion in 2003 to $5 billion in 2006. Yahoo recently acquired Overture and has started charging to expanded email services both of which are expected to contribute to this increase in revenue.
