Blog tracking venture blo.gs announced it was being acquired by Yahoo. The service claims to track about nine million blogs at the behest of about 12,000 users. Separately, Yahoo announced it was buying internet telephony firm Dialpad. The services of both firms will continue under Yahoo largely unchanged, except Dialpad's calling card product will be discontinued.
