Yahoo Overhauls Dynamic Blogroll for Publishers

Yahoo has overhauled MyBlogLog, integrating user profile pages with activity data from other services across the web.

And the recently reorganized profiles let users opt in to activity on sites like Del.icio.us, Last.fm, YouTube and LinkedIn.

MyBlogLog leverages blogging "community" by enabling bloggers to self-promote just by visiting other sites. Bloggers put the tool on their websites, which then reflects the names, photos and blogs of recent visitors. Users must be logged in to MyBlogLog for the widget to publish their information on other sites.

ReadWriteWeb reports the MyBlogLog API is nearing general public availability.
