WPP Takes Three Percent Stake in Spot Runner

WPP Group has bought a three percent stake in Spot Runner, for an undisclosed sum.

Spot Runner, which provides commercial production as well as media planning and buying services, was founded in 2004. It had gross assets of $10 million prior to WPP's investment, writes AFX (via MediaBuyerPlanner).

WPP announced late last month that it was part of a $40 million round of funding for Spot Runner, along with IPG and CBS.
