10 million strong
Blizzard Entertainment's World of Warcraft MMOG has reached a gaming population of 10 million worldwide.
There are 2.5 million players in North America, 2 million in Europe, and 5.5 milllion in Asia, reports GameSpot.
World of Warcraft was also named the most-played game of '07 by Nielsen.
This is another milestone for Vivendi-owned Blizzard, which recently joined Activision to become the world's largest gaming firm. World of Warcraft passed the 8 million gamers mark last January.
