Women More Apt to Buy Travel Online

A Burst online survey found that women are more likely to make purchases at online travel sites, where men are more likely than women to use the sites for price comparisons. Women also paid more, especially for car rentals and flight tickets. Behavior was more similar for room bookings. Interestingly, a previous Burst survey showed that women were less likely to buy retail items online and more likely to use the sites for price comparisons.
