Wizzard Media has released a product that dynamically inserts ads into audio and video podcasts.
The new product allows advertisers to automatically insert ads into breaks in podcasts, for example.
Ad positioning can be determined by relevant keywords mentioned in the podcasts.
Wizzard is currently at work on a dashboard that automates the ad buying and placement process, comparable — if all goes well — to AdWords.
Control over what ads get placed where will lie with the publisher, who has the final say over whether an ad placement is consistent with its message.
