With Search Unready, Microsoft Signs with Overture to 2006

ClickZ: MSN Renews With Overture — for Now

While Microsoft is busily trying to build its own search engine and the advertising infrastructure behind it, it re-signed with Yahoo's Overture division for an additional year, apparently fearing it wouldn't have its parts ready by the time the June 2005 contract expiration rolled around. The new agreement will run until June 2006.
