Wired magazine is about to get back the online business it lost eight years ago, with Lycos saying it has agreed to sell its Wired News online properties for $25 million to Wired magazine publisher Conde Nast Publications, reports Reuters. When the deal is completed, Wired News will be operated as part of CondeNet - Conde Nast's online division. The transaction includes the sale of the Wired.com domain and Wired News assets. Lycos will retain original Wired online properties Hotbot, Hotwired and Webmonkey.
