Wi-Fi, Cellular Both Kosher for New Blackberry


Remember the pager days?

Research in Motion has announced a new Blackberry that will operate on both traditional cellular and Wi-Fi networks, reports The Globe & Mail.

The Blackberry 8820, set to debut later this summer, will switch between cell and Wi-Fi connections for its internet functions. The new device will also sport a number of upgraded features, including a new version of the media player and an expandable memory slot.
