WhenU Adware Now Providing Phishing Site Pop-Up Warnings

WhenU is warning its adware users when they land on what the company believes may be a phishing site, according to MediaPost. A pop-up will display when a user reaches one of about 600 web addresses collected from sites like www.antiphishing.org. CEO Bill Day said their system has been sending out roughly 1,000 warnings a day since the program started on Monday.
