Digital marketing application provider WebSideStory today announced the launch of its new keyword bid-management solution for measuring and managing large numbers of paid keywords through one console, reports DM News. The new product, dubbed Bid, rounds out the Active Marketing Suite, a collection of applications that includes web analytics, site search, content management and keyword bid management.
Bid is being launched together with the latest version of the company's analytics service, HBX 3.0, which features Active Dashboard; it allows marketers to conduct real-time business scenario analysis to forecast the effect of changes made to websites.
WebSideStory claimed Bid surpasses similar applications on the market by providing an advanced user interface design that takes advantage of Ajax ("Asynchronous JavaScript and XML"), a new web development technique.
WebSideStory reported last week that its second-quarter revenue increased 78 percent year over year, reaching $9.4 million from $5.3 million, MediaPost reports. In February, the company acquired Atomz, a company that provides Web content management and search within sites, for about $40 million.
