Large companies are realizing the importance of a quality internet presence and are spending accordingly, reports AdWeek.
Forrester Research has issued a report showing web design-related budgets have ballooned. That's translating into 20 to 40 percent profit growth at website creation firms. The increased workload, though, is leading to a shortage of talent across all areas at those shops.
Forrester's report says this is far from a one-time spike and that demand for web services is only going to rise. It also says web design shops aren't doing a great job and are being judged on tactical execution more than anything.
