BBC: US voters 'going online for news'
Almost half of online Americans have used the web to look up information related to the upcoming presidential election, according to a new Pew study. That's double last election cycle's figures. Interestingly, those going online for information tend to be more apt to seek views that differ from their own, where broadcast viewers tend to watch content they know they'll agree with. TV retains the crown for the primary information source for most, but 31 percent of broadband users gave the nod to the internet instead.
