Vonage Rebrands with 'My' Qualifier

Yours or mine?

VoIP provider Vonage greets the new year with a fresh product strategy dubbed MyVonage.

For $9.99 after a mail-in rebate, Vonage customers get the V-Portal — a digital voice adapter and router.

The device is a "one-stop communication hub" that integrates contacts from landlines and mobile phones, among other features.

The new strategy comes at a hairy time for Vonage, which is facing lawsuits against major phone carriers.
