This week, Volkswagen is launching it's first year long Internet campaign shifting away from it's previous model of flighting.
Catherine Woolfe, communications manager for small cars at VW, says, "We believe a strategy of continuous rather than intermittent bursts of activity allows us to reach more consumers at a crucial point in the purchase cycle."
The campaign will not use intrusive formats but standard buttons and banners to build awareness.
