Popular video blogger Amanda Congdon is chatting up DuPont's products and materials in five new promotional videos.
The series, called DuPont Science Stories, mixes product demonstrations, humor and even vintage movie footage, ClickZ reports. DuPont says blog readers who are watching the videos tend to watch the entire series, and spend around 10 minutes doing so.
The infomercial videos are also being promoted with a large blog-ad buy. Among the sites included are Boing Boing, Digg, SEED Science Blog and Building Blog.
Congdon is a staff member, as a video blogger, for a major news organization: ABCNews.com. She and her employer apparently see no conflict of interest.
