VisualCV in action
Resumes are getting a multimedia revamp with the launch of VisualCV.
Jobseekers can sign on and create a page resembling a magazine article. Members can also upload videos describing themselves alongside examples of creative work, as well as lists of accomplishments and references.
When it launches out of beta this spring, VisualCV will provide premium features for employers, including folders that let companies keep track of leading canddiates, reports Springwise. It will also license white-label versions of the site to larger companies and recruiters.
The job site is a more polished version of VideoJobShop, which also sought to empower job hunters with online video.
