Internet Retailer: Online sales on Visa cards up 33% year-to-year in first week of November

Visa reported the first week of November saw online credit card sales jump by a third from last year's levels to almost $2 billion. That 33 percent rise compares with a 16 percent rise across all U.S. transactions, both online and offline. One of every eleven dollars spent through visa happened through e-commerce. The number of online transactions grew by a quarter.
