Few problems go unsolved
with a bit of borrowed cash
Visa plans to consolidate global creative duties on its $600 million marketing account, and is quietly pitching holding companies, according to Advertising Age.
Shops included in the pitch include Publicis Groupe, Omnicom Group and WPP Group. TBWA/Chiat/Day, an Omnicom property, is currently Visa's lead creative agency in the States.
TBWA/Chiat/Day is responsible for Visa's current "Life Takes Visa" campaign, which has been running for two years. It was toted as Visa's first attempt to reinvigorate its brand since 1986.
The company released an initial public offering (IPO) about three months ago.
