Only war for Verizon

Vonage may be in its final days as Verizon's patent infringement case against the VoIP service drags on in court, reports GigaOM.

Vonage claims it has a workaround to the three patents Verizon says its infringing, but if Verizon wins, it could cost Vonage $66 million in back payments and a 5.5 percent royalty. If a workaround isn't found out, some are thinking liquidation.
