Yesterday Vera Wang became the first guest blogger to appear on the Wedded Bits Blog, a recent addition to Brides.com.

Vera Wang is a world-renowned designer, most notable for her bridal fashion line. Her first post, "My take on the wedding gown," includes fashion tips for brides, as well as revelations on how Wang discovered her calling.

"Your wedding gown is probably the most significant dress you'll ever wear in your life," Wang wrote. "What it embodies is not only your optimism for the future … but your life and commitment to your partner.

"I saw an unmet need for modernity in bridal wear," she added with conviction.

Posts from Wang will appear every day this week. In addition to wedding dress selection, she will also advise brides on selecting veils, lingerie, china patterns and linens, reports MediaPost.
