Just four months after forming, Velocity Investment Group is merging with ComVentures to form Velocity Interactive Group.
ComVentures will bring over $1.5 billion in assets to the new group, while Velocity Investment provides know-how: It is headed by former FIM president Ross Levinsohn and former AOL chairman Jon Miller.
The new fund will invest as little as $100,000 and as much as $30 million in promising new companies, with an emphasis on digital media and communications.
