ClickZ: ValueClick, 24/7 Real Media Report Earnings
ValueClick did much better than even it expected, posting a $7.6 million profit for the third quarter, tripling last year's figure. ValueClick's CEO attributed the results to the cross-selling the firm has been doing between its various online marketing units. Its media business and affiliate marketing business saw "good traction." 24/7 Real Media reported revenue gains to $20.8 million, but a loss of $1.7 million due in part to changes made to comply with Sarbanes-Oxley.
