WB.com is partnering with Verizon Wireless to avail Warner Bros. programming to V Cast subscribers.
V Cast is Verizon's mobile video service.
The first show to appear on V Cast's dedicated WB Channel is Sorority Forever. The short-form mobile/web series was developed by the director of The OC, in collaboration with the producers of web drama Prom Queen.
Sorority Forever relates the twisted tales of sorority girls at a fictional college. It features existing internet stars like Jessica Rose — that is, lonelygirl15 — who is incidentally also appearing in an HBO web series called Hooking Up that also makes liberal use of cewebrity.
Four other original series from WB.com will appear on V Cast this year, reports MediaPost. Verizon also said it would offer programming from Food Network and HGTV.
V Cast users reportedly downloaded over 71 million video clips in the irst half of 2008.
