USA Today has begun offering widgets with updated news headlines for people to place on blogs or other sites, reports The Associated Press.
Three widgets thus far are currently available from widgets.usatoday.com, all related to travel topics. More will be introduced in the near future. Each will contain headlines and graphics from entertainment and other topics.
The paper eventually aspires to sell advertising on the widgets, which will increase the reach of USA Today's content with their implementation ease.
So far, no advertisers have joined.
