U.S., U.K., Aussies Form Anti-Spam Pact

AFP: US joins forces with Britain, Australia on spam

The Federal Trade Commission said it had signed a cooperation agreement with Australia and the U.K. that governs how government agencies will trade information to help track down spammers. Currently, a large proportion of spammers use servers outside their own countries to conduct their illegal mailing operations, a relatively simple technological maneuver for spammers that often creates very large legal hurdles for law enforcement trackers.
