The NUJ now wants to expand its reach to staff working on content for other online media firms face but will face determined opposition from Yahoo, MSN and Wanadoo. AOL had also resisted NUJ's demands to gain recognition after more than 50 percent of eligible staff had signed on. But an independent body, the Central Arbitration Committee, ruled in the Union's favor.
