Turner and NBA Heat Up, Go Digital

Brought to you by TBS

The National Basketball Association (NBA) and Turner Broadcasting System are expanding an existing 32-year partnership to comprise the NBA's 24-hour TV network and associated websites, including NBA.com, WNBA.com and NBADLeague.com.

The adjustment will last from the 2008-2009 NBA season through the 2015-2016 season. It will be jointly managed. Advertising for the digital assets will also be jointly sold.

The two companies are owned by Time Warner, which announced a progressing model for pay-per-download broadband yesterday.
