Ataturk
Turkey has blocked access to YouTube for a second time. A Turkish court cited the same offense as previously to justify the ban.
In March of last year, YouTube was blocked in the country after a video that allegedly insulted Mustafa Kemal "Ataturk" ("Father of the Turks"), the founder of modern Turkey, was posted on the video-sharing site. The ban was lifted two days later.
Those who tried logging onto the site were met with messages that the site was blocked as of Jan. 17 by an Ankara court order, according to Reuters.
