TribalFusion and ROO are partnering to offer video ads based on contextual text on a webpage, reports ClickZ.
The new offering will allow publishers to dynamically place video ads on pages based on the text content of that page. The visitor will have the option of buying a related product at the end of that ad.
The ads would appear within video content as pre-roll spots. Thus, video relevant to a page's content can be populated with ads that are equally relevant.
As Zach Rodgers at ClickZ points out, the partnership gives TribalFusion access to ROO's video inventory, something that would significantly expand the reach of TribalFusion's ad network.
