AdWeek: Travelocity Embarks on $80 Mil. Campaign

Travelocity launched an $80 million dollar "Roaming Gnome" campaign starting with online media and moving now into television. For three weeks in December, Travelocity used a fake website to focus attention on the travels of a stolen lawn gnome that sends postcards back from his various travels. The television and other media follow the initial online creative.
