Expedia, Orbitz and Travelocity topped a Keynote study on user preferences among travel sites in purchasing tickets, edging out all the airline sites except for Southwest. In addition to providing more selection, which was unsurprising, the three travel retailers also provided a much better shopping experience, according to the survey, reported by ClickZ. Also of note, 81 percent of respondents said that the main factor in ticket selection was price. Half of respondents also said that sites' ease of use was important in deciding where and what to purchase.
