Trade Group Launches Weblogs

MediaPost: Ad Group Logs On With Blog, ANA Posts Trade Musings, Rumblings

The Association of National Advertisers (ANA), will publish two weblogs. The first, called "ANA Marketing Musing," by President and CEO Bob Liodice, will contain as many as two to three posts per week on major industry issues. The second, with a name that will put you to sleep before you can start reading it, "ANA Regulatory Ramblings," will be written by Executive Vice President-Government Relations Dan Jaffe.

Blog snobbery aside, hopefully these weblogs will become a forum for insightful industry commentary and not simply a platform for occasional ANA talking points. Oddly, though Liodice said he would welcome user postings and feedback, the site has not yet enabled the "comment" features. [Editor's note: as of this afternoon, the comment feature was turned on. Yay.]
