Top Toolkit News: Automating display, analytics and online coupons


Google has introduced new tools for its display ads. These include a Display Campaign Optimizer, which automatically manages targeting and bidding for display network campaigns and Contextual Targeting. The Contextual Targeting Tool builds keyword lists for a display campaign, which are used to contextually target the ads.


Google has updated its Search Funnel tools - its reports within Conversions - with longer, customizable conversion history windows and the ability to only show complete conversion paths. This latter enhancement allows users to filter out conversions that are from paths that are potentially biased by cookie deletion.

MerchEngines has a new platform for media companies that integrates eight online marketing systems: Yahoo, Bing, Google, Twitter, Facebook, LinkedIn, Google Buzz, Google Analytics and local directory submission.
