Where to start?
Fox Interactive Media is conducting some corporate reshuffling, following news that the division is expected to miss its 2008 revenue targets, reports Reuters.
FIM's revenue goal for 2008 is about $1 billion. It is expected to fall short of the mark resulting from consolidation of its ad offerings under the FIM Audience Network. Sales divisions under the consolidated network will be divided, a move designed to make each unit more accountable for its results.
FIM also plans to roll out its long-gestating ad network soon. Its touted hyper-targeting tools will hopefully help advertisers monetize social networks, whose harvest has been limited, even for Google.
On the executive front, Chief Revenue Officer Michael Barrett will leave FIM. Adam Bain will serve as president of the FIM Advertising Network.
