In what may be the largest mobile initiative by a traditional media company, Time is bundling mobile interactivity into its People and Teen People titles, ClickZ reports. Time is in talks with advertisers to integrate their campaigns with the channel.
U.K.-based mobile company Flytxt will help Time to deploy the mobile messaging and will consult on strategy.
Time has not yet signed any advertisers, but expects marketing tie-ins with its mobile audience to be a relatively easy sell.
