Cable network BET has added three executives to help it ramp up cross-platform ad sales, reports MediaPost.
Janet Roelle, Alvin Bowles and Jeanine Liburd have joined BET; Roelle and Bowles both left AOL to join the network. Liburd has been with Viacom for seven years.
All three will be in some way responsible for cross-platform ad sales at the company, which is not only taking more control over its own content but also partnering with Viacom sister companies such as Paramount on ventures.
