'The Spot' Makes Online Comeback

CNET: Online soap opera returns from the dead

The Spot is back. The failed 1995-1997 online soap opera featuring a bunch of young people living in a beach house is back online as of this February. The original show predated the reality TV trend popular today. The Spot differs mostly in that the players are actors following a loose script. The show, once considered a hot Internet property, sold at bankruptcy court for $114,000 to its current owner Cyber Oasys.
