Terry Tate Pulls Reebok Visitors without Need for Super Bowl Spot

Internet Retailer: Reebok.com’s "Terry Tate, Office Linebacker" Strikes Again

During last year's Super Bowl, the Reebok Terry Tate commercial generated 20 million online views of the extended version of the spot and built a database of one million who opted into "Terry's Hit Squad." This year, Reebok did not run a Terry Tate Super Bowl ad, but they did email members of "Terry Tate's Hit Squad" prior to the Super Bowl to promote another extended video. The company did so without requiring registration, and, according to Reebok, the site saw traffic levels similar to last year's.
