Blog search engine Technorati is may be plotting the launch of a blog advertising network, reports TechCrunch.
The company has reportedly been seeking financing and exploring potential buyers. In December 2007, the site relaunched with a more committed focus on bloggers.
Technorati's recent attempts to regain a sense of usefulness to bloggers apparently foreshadows plans to launch its own blogger ad network.
The network would likely cater to blogs of all shades, serving publishers shut out of networks that only allow large sites in. Ads would be sold on a CPC and CPM basis and include both display and text units.
