A new patented invention from Colin Davies makes it possible for full-frame, still images to be placed on screen while a person is using a DVR to fast-forward through ads, writes Adrants (via MediaBuyerPlanner).

However, though most consumers do fast forward through ads, they sometimes actually want see the ads as they are fast-forwarding through them, Adrants points out.
