Taiwan: Google Doesn't Know China from China

Taiwan has asked Google to stop calling the island a "province of China" on Google Maps, but it has not yet received a response, reports Reuters. Taiwan says it is a sovereign state called the Republic of China, but the People's Republic of China considers it a breakaway province. Taiwan's independence is recognized by 26 states, but it is not a member of the United Nations.
